Kaunsel B.V. (“Kaunsel”), located at Escudostraat 2, 2991 XV in Barendrecht, is responsible for the processing of your personal data as described in this privacy statement.

What is personal data?

These are all data that can be traced back to you as an individual. For example, your name, telephone number, address and email address. But also your IP address is personal data.

Whose personal data do we process?

From everyone who has (had) direct or indirect contact with Kaunsel, such as clients, applicants, partners and parties “on the other side of the table”.

Which personal data do we process?

This comprises your first and last name, company name, email address, telephone number and other information you provide to us.

For what purpose do we do that?

Processing of personal data must be based on a so-called “legal basis”. In our case this means that we:

  • When being your legal street fighter, base it on the agreement we have made for this purpose
  • When responding to a question or request, base it on legitimate interest
  • When applying for a job, base it on the permission you have given
  • When complying with laws and regulations, base it on those laws and regulations
How long do we keep your personal data?

We do not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which that data is collected:

  • If we are your legal street fighter, we process the necessary personal data for a maximum of seven years after our collaboration has ended
  • If you send us a question or request, we will store your personal data for a maximum of one year
  • If you apply for a job with us, we process your personal data as long as the application procedure is ongoing. You can then, if you wish, give us permission to keep your personal data in our portfolio for another year
  • If we keep your personal data to comply with laws and regulations, we will keep that personal data for as long as required
Do we share your personal data with third parties?

We only share your personal data with third parties if necessary to be your legal street fighter, i.e. to defend your interests. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

How can you view, adjust, delete or receive your personal data in digital format?

You have the right to view, modify, delete and receive your personal data from us in digital format.- You also have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing. You can send a request to privacy@kaunsel.eu. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but in any case within four weeks. To ensure that the request has been made by you, we may ask you for further identification. As soon as your request has been processed, the personal data you provided for identification purposes will be immediately deleted.

How do we deal with personal data of persons under 16 years of age?

We do not intend to collect personal data about children under the age of 16. However, we cannot check the age of someone who, for example, completes the contact form. And then it may be the case that we unfortunately process personal data without the parental consent required in this case. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a child under the age of 16, please contact us at privacy@kaunsel.eu. We will then delete that personal data immediately.

Do we do automated decision-making?

No. We do not make decision on matters that could have (significant) consequences for people on the basis of automated processing, without a Kaunsel employee making the "final call."

How do we secure your personal data?

We take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact privacy@kaunsel.eu.

How do we deal with changes to this privacy statement?

We reserve the right to make changes to this statement. We understand that we cannot ask you to check every week to see if anything has changed, so we promise that if something really significant changes, we will communicate this very clearly to everyone.

And if you still have any questions?
